Announcement: Molokai Outdoors Has Moved!

The mission of Molokai Outdoor Activities (MO/Molokai Outdoors) remains to provide visitors with an experience that will both entertain and educate them about the things that make our island special. We continue to offer a combination of activities that include culture, education, and fun to share our unique Molokai way of life. It is our intent to bring a unique and rich experience, showing you the real Hawai’i and helping you learn and understand the Hawaiian culture.

We are pleased to announce we have moved! We have relocated from Hotel Molokai—which is now operating under new ownership with a new vision—and we have established our new place at the Molokai Airport.

As we settle into our new home, we are currently in a transition period. The best way to reach us right now is by phone or email. We hope to be back in full swing by December 2025.

As a local Molokai, Hawai’i company, we’ve been in business since Thanksgiving of 1998 (with our official opening in February 1999). We are proud to be officially the longest running PUC transportation and car rental company on the island (not counting the school buses)!

Highly Recommended!

Cannot rave about these guys enough! We had booked an 8mile downwinder kayak, but the winds weren't going to work in our favor, so they offered either a shorter trip, or postponing it to a day with better odds. Unfortunately the winds and currents never picked up for us, but we loved our shorter (2-3 mile) kayak trip! It was just me and my husband with Gordon (the owner). Not only did we get amazing history of the island, we saw loads of sea turtles while cruising. Would absolutely book another excursion with them.

Check These Guys Out!

Our kayaking experience was a gift from my brother and sister-in-law for Christmas and we are so happy they stumbled across Molokai Outdoors. We ended up booking multiple adventures with Clare and Gordon during our stay on the island. They were so knowledgeable, fun, and kind people. We can't imagine what our trip would have been like had we not booked with Molokai Outdoors. We cannot recommended Molokai Outdoors enough!!

Shouldn't Miss This Tour!

We are not typical ocean activity orientated people so we were a little apprehensive about this particular tour. But Claire put us at ease and we were able to struggle a little bit with the wind but then enjoy an absolutely outstanding Kayak trip back to the original destination. It was absolutely beautiful with the sunset and I wish we would’ve brought a camera with us. Claire is extremely knowledgeable and she has a special type of personality that makes this particular trip both interesting and enjoyable!

Phenomenal Tour!

We did a sunset kayaking tour with Gordon at Molokai Outdoor We enjoyed this activity immensely! We had beautiful scenery and a wonderful storyteller. Gordon’s enthusiasm for his culture and the Molokai Island was enlightening. Kayaking with Molokai Outdoor is a must-do if you are visiting Molokai. I would also like to give a big shout out to Ashley. She was set up at Hotel Molokai for Molokai Outdoor Adventures. She was helpful, patient and every thing she planned or suggested was perfect for us. She is one of the main reasons, our trip to Molokai was phenomenal!

Amazing Tour!

Great one stop for all your outdoor recreational experiences on Molokai and also a great place to get a vehicle from too! Easy hassle free car rental experience and also great trip exploring 8 miles of Molokai's coast with Gordon our local guide telling us all about the history of the island. Highly recommended.

Awesome Kayak Trip!

Thoroughly enjoyed our private kayak trip in Molokai. The weather was perfect and we learned a lot about the history of Molokai. We saw whales, sea turtles and lots of fish. Well worth the time and money and I recommend doing this if you go to Molokai. It would have been difficult to do this on our own without a guide to get us through the shallow waters.

Absolutely Fabulous!

The day long tour of Molokai is absolutely fabulous. We loved it. Our tour guide Diamond was fantastic: informative, friendly, polite and patient. He brought the island to life for us, sharing lots of information that you would not get from a tour book. He also provided a good historical background. After staying on Wailea Beach in Maui it was wonderful to be in Molokai, which is so natural and not at all commercial.

Adventure Meets Relaxation!

I had a great time on the downwind paddle tour with Hawaiiloa. He made sure I got my outdoor water adventure in during my 1 week visit to Molokai even though the weather tried real hard to keep me on land. This company tries hard to achieve guest satisfaction and values the customer experience. I greatly appreciated the hospitality shown to me and recommend Moloka’i Outdoors for all travel adventure bookings.

Great Kayak Tour!

Clair and Hawaii provided a great kayak downwind experience. Everyone involved was friendly and genuine. After the shuttle ride, we paddled the kayak with the trade wind, learned about the history of Molokai and its people, as well as the environmental challenges Molokai faces today. These people truly care about the island, its future, and the people who call it home. There was also plenty of time for photography and Hawaii (I think I have his name correct) also shared his photos the next day from his phone too. Recommend the extended downwind tour.
